What is a cookie?
A cookie, is a small text file stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a web page, which can later be retrieved from your computer by the web page. Cookies are partly used to facilitate the use of a website by, for example, remembering your choices and settings and partly to develop the website and analyze your behavior. Some features do not work without cookies.
What types of cookies do we use?
In order for certain functions on QUIDDLY.com or our other websites to work, for example that the right web pages are displayed for the right person, the website uses so-called “session cookies”. When you visit one of our sites, our web servers provide your computer with a unique ID number for the unique visit. These cookies lack the expiration date and are instead temporarily stored in the user’s computer memory until the browser is shut down. Thanks to this cookie, you do not have to re-enter all information each time you for example back in the invoice dialog.
A persistent cookie has a specified duration, or lifetime, that determines how long it is stored on your computer or mobile device. Such cookies are stored until the lifetime expires or until you manually delete them yourself.
A third-party cookie is a cookie placed on your device on our behalf by someone other than us. This occurs when we have suppliers that perform services for us, such as certain analytics services or services that allow you to share our pages in social media. You can set the management of cookies in your browser.
Are personal data handled in cookies?
QUIDDLY may collect and handle certain personal data using cookies. For this handling, our personal data policy applies.
